ATUG Focus Forum on 5th March in Sydney – Scott Marcus, WIK Consulting
ATUG is excited to announce an opportunity for members to attend a Focus Forum event on 5th March in Sydney with Scott Marcus from WIK Consulting. WIK has recently contributed to the ACCC’s work on Mobile Terminating Prices, to the European Competitive Telecommunications Association and INTUG work on the deployment and costs of Fibre Network Deployments and to discussions about Network Neutrality in the US.
Marcus areas of specialization include
- Network interconnection (including PSTN,NGN and Internet; Europe and the U.S.)
- Regulation in a converged or NGN environment (including VoIP)
- International comparative analysis of markets and of legal and regulatory institutions (especially Europe and the U.S.)
- Security, trust and privacy for electronic communications networks
- Spectrum management policy
- Cable networks: market analysis, evolution to triple play
- Data network design; capacity planning and performance analysis; and operations and management
