During 2007 ATUG is again focused on high speed Broadband access for all
Australians at metro comparable pricing. Awareness of developments in wireless
access technologies such as WiMAX is an important aspect of this discussion.
Of late there has been much discussion about WiMAX technology. ATUG is working
to bring key decision makers, influencers, end users and industry groups up
to speed on wireless technologies and their role in innovation and competition
delivering expanded services and choice for end users.
Airspan will be providing the most up to date information on world developments
in WiMAX technologies, platforms and deployments and a better understanding
of wireless access in Australia.

President & Chief Executive Officer - Eric D. Stonestrom
Eric D. Stonestrom joined Airspan at its inception in January 1998 as Executive
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In May 1998, he was named President
and Chief Executive Officer as well as a member of the Board of Directors.
From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Stonestrom was employed by DSC Communications Corporation
as a Vice President. From 1984 to 1995, Mr. Stonestrom worked at Bell Laboratories
and AT&T in a variety of positions. He received B.S., M.S. and M. Eng.
degrees in 1982, 1983 and 1984, respectively, from the College of Engineering
at the University of California at Berkeley.
