ATUG 2009 Regional Conference

This will be the 7th annual conference focused on regional communications strategies and services.
The conference is very well supported by Federal, State and Local Government agencies with a clear focus working together to bring sustainable, advanced communications services to regional communities throughout Australia.
Industry organisations and end users come together to discuss the developments and applications that advanced communications platforms make possible.
In 2009 there will be a policy update session on the morning of Day 1 including the Minister, the Shadow Minister and regulators from ACCC, ACMA and the TIO.
In the afternoon of Day 1 the conference will be showcasing the Clever Networks projects, a number of which are focused on health and education applications, and updating the conference on a number of State Government initiatives, with interactive panel sessions.
To finish this information packed day, attendees and guests will attend the 2009 ATUG Regional Conference Networking Evening.
Day 2 of the conference will provide the opportunity to discuss the significant opportunities in developing FTTH projects in a morning workshop.
The conference will be held at the Australian War Memorial, Limestone Pde, Canberra
