National
Broadband Network Forum
|
The deadline
for the NBN Regulatory submission is fast approaching. ATUG would
like to use our Brisbane members forum to discuss the high level
principles ATUG has developed to date and to generate valuable
feedback for further input into our submission.
ATUG would like to take the opportunity to have an open and transparent discussion
with our members covering ATUG’s submission on National Broadband Network
regulatory issues – due 25 June. ATUG puts forward this discussion in goodwill
and hopes to achieve an outcome on behalf of end users that will carry significant
weight and importance forward to policy makers.
This discussion will be structured around ATUG's Policy Objective for
the New Legislation
"Long-term interests of end users remains the objective
to telecommunications policy in Australia, especially policy designed to encourage
accelerated and extended investment in next generation broadband networks."
The discussion
will also cover key areas of thought from ATUG on affordability,
choice, customer experience and ubiquity. Further information will
be available at the meeting.
When: Thursday,
June 19, 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Please note, the DLA Phillips Fox Offices
close at 6pm. Any persons arriving after 6pm will not be able to enter
