ATUG 2009 May Regional Conference
This will be the 7th annual conference focused on regional communications strategies and services.

ATUG's
6th Annual Conference on Regional Communications will be held in Canberra on
20-21 May 2008. Since last year's conference there has been a change of Government,
new Minister
and new Department name all reflecting a new outlook on communications policy
and the answers for regional end users. New policy and funding
decisions are now key to current discussions. With the major focus being
the National Broadband Network policies and proposals. Since
ATUG 2007 Regional Conference, Local and State governments have continued
to work to define
and develop their individual role and to coordinate outcomes for end users

ATUG 2007 Regional Communications Roadshow
Since 2002 ATUG has had a particular
focus on ensuring regional areas have access to the latest communications platforms
at affordable prices. ATUG has represented the interests of end users directly
to politicians, policy makers and regulators to develop policies, targeted funding,
and good co-ordination between layers of government to achieve better outcomes
for regional users.

ATUG’S 24th Annual
Conference, ATUG 2008, will be held in Sydney at the Australian Technology Park,
on the 12-13 March 2008.
Renowned for being one
of the most significant events in the telecommunications calendar, the conference
brings together the most influential minds in the industry.
The conference this year
will debate the current and future state of the telecommunications industry
and raise issues of regulation and policy. Topics will be discussed from
